My passion for helping businesses grow began in 2009, while working as a reporter in Southwest Florida during the Great Recession. Every week, I wrote about a different local business as part of a “Success Stories” series. After a story was published, business owners often reached out to me to share how their companies were flourishing as a result of their feature.
Sharing their stories felt good, and knowing I was helping them and the local economy grow was the cherry on top.
Since my newspaper days, I’ve written magazine features, blog posts, website copy and book content. I work with the philosophy that the key to effective copywriting and attention-grabbing content is strong storytelling.
